We're excited to release v1.6.2 of Waterly -- it provides a few enhancements as well as fixes a few bugs around the application.

Updates

Improving the mobile experience

When Waterly is installed as an application on Android and iOS, it will behave, well, a little more like an application.  The application icon that you will see on your home screen is improved, as well as giving you more screen real-estate within the app.

(No comments on my inbox status, please.  I cherish every message from our dear Waterly customers :))

Template all the things

Some of you who may not be from the lovely state of Illinois may have encountered the issue of seeing an Illinois-themed report template when you create a new report.  That has been corrected, and you will now automatically receive the template most appropriate for your state.  Additionally, if any specific templates have been created for you by the support team, you will be able to choose from that list for the most appropriate one.

Bacterials? What Bacterials?

With the change in how Waterly treats Bacterials in 2022, we've now automatically removed the Bacterials warning message from reports for any report from January into the future.  If you used the feature in the past, your old reports will still show the proper messaging:

So Precise!

For those of you who utilize WaterlyConnect to automatically import data from your SCADA and PLC environment, you may have noticed that the precision on those values was not consistent with the precision that you setup in Waterly for a Metric.  That issue has been resolved, and incoming data from WaterlyConnect will now be lovingly coerced to adhere to the standard you set in Waterly.

It All Adds Up...

If you've ever needed to change whether a particular metric was totaled, averaged, etc. on your reports, you would need to contact Waterly support for help.  No longer!  You can always contact us for help of course, but for your late night metric editing needs, you can now do it right from the metric editor itself:

Thank you

We will use this space to update notes on the software if needed.

As always, we are grateful for all of our water and wastewater superheroes that we get to work with every day.  We hope you enjoy the new features, but as always, we welcome your suggestions, comments, and complaints.  The future of Waterly is driven by your input, so please keep the feedback coming by support ticket, phone call, email, or carrier pigeon.
