We're excited to release several new features today.  This update has been centered primarily around some fixes and optimizations.  We have some more exciting user-facing features coming soon, so stay tuned!

Updates

Take Me Home, Please

The Waterly logo in the upper corner of the application now works in a more expected fashion.  Clicking it will return you to the main data entry screen.

No More Squinting

For you supervisors out there, you may have noticed that sometimes, when renaming a process or component, the input boxes were just a little too tiny.  They've been adjusted to fill up a reasonable amount of space now to make them a little easier to deal with.

What's In a Name?

This release introduces the first step towards more full-featured user preferences.  This time around, you'll be able to update your name if the one your Mom gave to you just isn't your thing any longer:

Click the Pencil icon to edit, and you'll be on your way.  Note that if you're from an enterprise organization that defines your name in a central directory, you won't be able to edit your name without asking for some help from your employer.

Remember When?

Waterly attempts to be friendly and return you to the site you were working on last when you reopen the app at a later date. That feature seemed to take a short hiatus for some people, so this release introduces a fix for that.

Signing On

This release also introduces a few optimizations around the sign on process, which should be transparent for most people.  If you work in an enterprise organization and had trouble getting permissions to synchronize all the time previously, this update ensures that you get the latest permissions for your company's directory every time you open the app.

Thank you

We will use this space to update notes on the software if needed.

As always, we are grateful for all of our water and wastewater superheroes that we get to work with every day.  We hope you enjoy the new features, but as always, we welcome your suggestions, comments, and complaints.  The future of Waterly is driven by your input, so please keep the feedback coming by support ticket, phone call, email, or carrier pigeon.
