Updates

Our most recent update is largely centered around stability and refinement of a few existing features. Read on for more!

Safety First!

With the advent of TimeSeries sites, we've had a few cases where certain Intervals have been retired. For example, a site may no longer wish to use the 10:00 interval, and will want to delete it.  That is perfectly acceptable, but it can cause some issues if inadvertently previously entered data was connected to that value.  We now provide a nice warning in that scenario to make sure you really want to remove it.   (And don't worry, we can always help you recover just in case :))

But Can You Go Faster???

We're continuing to improve load times and performance around the application.  In this release, we took a big step in that direction by reducing the amount of "work" required for the system to load a site.  In the coming days and weeks, you should expect to see even more dramatic improvements -- this is as important to us as it is to you!

What Time Is It?

A request that we received several times for our TimeSeries customers, was the ability to pick an interval for the day to be included in monthly reports.  With this release, we've added that feature.  From the monthly report editor, you may now turn Interval metrics "on" to be displayed on the report, and then choose a particular interval to be the selected "Interval of the Day" for the report.

Fixes

  • We resolved an issue where a WaterlyConnect value would lose its icon when a user would overwrite the value.
  • TimeSeries sites can now build calculations again with source metrics that span across multiple sites.
  • We fixed a problem that could occur when cloning a "Site Process", resulting in an invalid process.
  • 4/26/23 - A bugfix was released on 4/26 to remediate unintentional calculation failures on time-series sites.

Thank You

We will use this space to update notes on the software if needed.

As always, we are grateful for all of our water and wastewater superheroes that we get to work with every day.  We hope you enjoy the new features, but as always, we welcome your suggestions, comments, and complaints.  The future of Waterly is driven by your input, so please keep the feedback coming by support ticket, phone call, email, or carrier pigeon.
