This week, the Waterly team has been hard at work at extending our upcoming improvements to our Auditing service.  Soon, you'll be able to monitor and report on changes to not only data values entered by your staff, but also changes to metrics, sites, permissions and more.  Stay tuned for more on this!

Updates

Let's Get Vertical

If you have metrics with very long unit names (for example, Hardness units), you may have noticed a problem when using your mobile device in portrait mode.  For larger numbers, the unit label can overlap the number input making it hard to see what you typed.  In this release, when you're using your phone, you'll notice some layout tweaks that we've made to give you more room when entering information:

Home on the Range

Today we're releasing the culmination of a new feature set call Out of Range Metric Notifications. This will allow you to mark any metrics you choose as "Enabled for Notifications".  You'll be required to pick a minimum and maximum value for those metrics.  If a value is entered (or calculated!) that falls outside of that range, you'll receive a friendly email letting you know what's going on. We've put together a nice training video to help understand how to apply this feature in your system!

If you have any questions on how to use it, please feel free to reach out to the helpdesk at any time.

Well That's Just Crummy

In one final tweak, we've noticed it can be a little frustrating navigating around the report editor screens.  Today we're adding features to provide a "Breadcrumb" trail making it easier to navigate back to where you were coming from.  Additionally, the back button will behave much better.

Thank You

We will use this space to update notes on the software if needed.

As always, we are grateful for all of our water and wastewater superheroes that we get to work with every day.  We hope you enjoy the new features, but as always, we welcome your suggestions, comments, and complaints.  The future of Waterly is driven by your input, so please keep the feedback coming by support ticket, phone call, email, or carrier pigeon.
