What Day Is It?
We've had a state or two request that systems include the day of week (Mon, Tue, etc.) in their operating reports. So far, we've only supported having the number for the date, but today, we're adding a feature to let you turn on the day of week as well in your reports.
You can turn on the feature in your reports with the "Show Day of Week Column" toggle in the Report Editor:
Once it is turned on, your reports will now include a handy indicator of when it's safe to say TGIF (or any other day of the week):
Keep it Rolling
Continuing the theme of report improvements, this week, we are providing support for a new calculation that can maintain a rolling weekly average with some special rules for how to handle month end (with an eye especially to supporting our dear friends in Indiana). We've had a few customers ask for this to support their reporting requirements, and now we can support it. Please reach out to the Waterly helpdesk if this sounds like a good fit for your system.
Fixes
Today's release includes the usual round of bug fixing and quality improvements. Among those are:
- We discovered a situation where a supervisor (or higher) could not change permissions for their own user on a system that they were intended to be administering (although they could change anyone else's). We've now fully empowered admins to make their own decisions in this regard.
