Improvements

Even Faster

For very large sites -- and we're sure you noticed it along with us -- they have started to feel more sluggish.  This week we're rolling out an update that won't change how you see the app, but it changes how Waterly requests the information to show all of the information in the inputs as well as the small "sparkline" graphs next to them (see below).  The change today makes that more efficient so you should be able to get the point of data entry faster than ever.

Bug Fixes

As usual, we have a handful of fixes that went in this week.  Most notably:

  • We fixed an issue that could very occasionally make it difficult to login to Waterly without clearing your cache.  After this update, it should be smooth sailing.

  • If you happen to be using Waterly with a system TimeZone outside of the continental US, you may have run into an issue generating monthly reports.  We've made that work nicely anywhere on the planet.  (Though we're not quite ready for Mars yet)

  • We noticed an issue where sometimes WaterlyConnect (SCADA) values would ask you to restore a changed value, even though it appeared nothing had actually changed.  This was due to the way Waterly manages precision.  We've corrected this to make it work much more cleanly:(This situation is now fixed)

Thank You

We will use this space to update notes on the software if needed.

As always, we are grateful for all of our water and wastewater superheroes that we get to work with every day.  We hope you enjoy the new features, but as always, we welcome your suggestions, comments, and complaints.  The future of Waterly is driven by your input, so please keep the feedback coming by support ticket, phone call, email, or carrier pigeon.
