Improvements

Group Up!

Waterly tracks many kinds of events in its audit logs, making them very useful, but also somewhat difficult to navigate.  This week, we’re adding a little tweak to make it easier to find what you want by grouping the events into categories which should make it a little easier to use.

Filtering out the Robots

Waterly tracks every change to your system, including those that SCADA systems are logging on your behalf.  It can be tough to plow through all of those audit events when you’re looking for something from the operators in your system.  Now we’ve added a handy filter to either include or exclude SCADA/WaterlyConnect entries from the audit log search results.

Still Faster

We’ve been hard at work making things go faster.  As Waterly customers continue to expand their use to larger and larger sites, we’ve seen some unexpected slowdowns in a couple areas of the application.  This week, you should experience noticeable improvements in how large sites load (especially when editing metrics) and in generating reports for very large sites with lots of metrics.

Squashing More Bugs

As usual, each week contains a collection of bug fixes and improvements. This week, most notably, we're correcting an issue that made it more difficult for users to "tab" through their sites for data entry.

Thank You

We will use this space to update notes on the software if needed.

As always, we are grateful for all of our water and wastewater superheroes that we get to work with every day.  We hope you enjoy the new features, but as always, we welcome your suggestions, comments, and complaints.  The future of Waterly is driven by your input, so please keep the feedback coming by support ticket, phone call, email, or carrier pigeon.
