Today's release adds a feature to around updating your name and information in Waterly.

Update your preferences in Waterly

Ever want to try out a new name? Correct a typo in your name?

In the past the only time you could set your name was when you first signed up for Waterly. If you make a mistake, had a name change, or wanted to go by something else you would have to open a support ticket to get it correct.

We've added a new section for My Preferences near your name and the Logout button. Here you'll find an area where you can update your First and Last Name.

The My Preferences area will gain more features and options as we continue to build. The keen among you might spot the Licenses section. More on that in the next section.

Adding Water Licenses in Waterly

We're adding the ability to add your Water Licenses in Waterly. We have some features coming that will tie these licenses right into Reporting soon! We want to hand over more control of managing these important elements on your reports.

Right now we're excited to be opening this section up so you can be ahead of the curve. Keep an eye on future updates when tie this into reporting!

Supervisors can update any user

In the Account Settings, Supervisors can now update any user that is part of the water system. This is includes both their Name and Licenses.

We want it to be simple for Supervisors to have the tools to edit and update team members

Tabbing Fixed

If you use keyboard shortcuts in Waterly, in our July 18, 2022 release we added the ability to override Calculated fields. However, it's rare to ever need to edit a calculated field. If you used the Tab key to tab through metic inputs you will have noticed that you have to tab through all the calculated fields. That's exhausting!

Now by default Tabbing through metrics will skip over Calculated metics just like it use to. And if you need to edit one you always can, you'll just have to click it. How cool is that?

Thank you

We will use this space to update notes on the software if needed.

As always, we are grateful for all of our water and wastewater superheroes that we get to work with every day.  We hope you enjoy the new features, but as always, we welcome your suggestions, comments, and complaints.  The future of Waterly is driven by your input, so please keep the feedback coming by support ticket, phone call, email, or carrier pigeon.
